First Mobile Phones Recycled For Charity

H.A.R.T. Community Transport, are pleased to announce that the first First Mobile Phones Recycled For Charity have now been collected and transported for safe disposal.

The H.A.R.T. Recycling Coordinator said:

"the first batch of 31 mobile phones recycled represents the beginning of what we hope will be a successful fundraising scheme. H.A.R.T. are keen to do their bit to help the environment whilst raising much needed funds for the Charity. On average people replace their mobile phones every 18 months so there is potentially a continuous supply of valuable income. As well as being worth about £5 to Charity every Mobile Phone recycled keeps hazardous waste out of landfill, which can only be a good thing for the environment".
