New Law On Criminal Record Checks

Independent Safeguarding Authority Vetting and Barring Scheme For Volunteer Drivers

A reminder that the new rules for all people working with children come into force from next month (October). CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks will now be required for a lot more people - from school governors to volunteer drivers taking a friends child to sports events on a regular basis. The penalties for not registering can be harsh, up to £5000 fine and a criminal record.

Of course all H.A.R.T. drivers are CRB checked. So if you don't wish to pay the £64 for CRB registration or need someone else to take the strain of organising transport H.A.R.T. are ready and waiting for your call.
