Volunteer Drivers Trained
H.A.R.T. Community Transport are pleased to announce that three more Volunteer drivers have successfully completed the MiDAS Driver Training course.
The MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) course was held on 18th November 2009 and delivered by the in house MiDAS Trainer, Alan.
Each of the Volunteers Drivers will receive the nationally recognised MiDAS Certificate and handbook and will now be eligible to drive the H.A.R.T. Community Minibuses.
Two of the Volunteer Drivers will drive for H.A.R.T. on the MEDiBUS and Shopper services whilst the third will drive for a H.A.R.T. Registered Community Group.
H.A.R.T. now have well over 30 volunteers and a good pool of MiDAS Trained Drivers but always need more as the list of Community Groups and Volunteer Shopper services continues to grow.
MiDAS Driver Training is free to Volunteers and Registered Community Groups.
